Newport Hwy near the intersection with Massengil Rd N. Two vehicle collision. The maroon truck hit the gray truck head-on just prior to the gray truck going off the embankment and rolling over. The passenger of the gray truck was thrown from the vehicle and the driver was pinned. The driver of the gray truck was pulled to safety by a passerby prior to arrival of emergency personal, due to the threat of fire. Both victims of the gray truck and the driver of the maroon truck were all flown by Wings 1 and 3 and Life Star 3 to Johnson City Medical Center.
